Let me recount a rather embarrassing experience I had recently. It all started innocently enough. I drove my son to school one morning, parked the car near the entrance, and dropped him off at the school door. As I returned to the car, eager to get on with my day, I encountered a frustrating roadblock – the car wouldn't start. This was a new car, mind you, barely a few days old! Panic began to set in. I immediately jumped to the worst conclusion: had I purchased a lemon?

Completely exasperated, my first instinct was to contact the car dealership. Luckily, I remembered stashing the salesman’s business card in my wallet before leaving the showroom. Grateful for that foresight, I didn’t hesitate to call. After explaining the situation, I was transferred to the service department. I painstakingly described my predicament – the car simply refused to start. The technician, after listening patiently, offered a simple, yet surprisingly effective, solution: "Try moving the steering wheel."

Skeptical but desperate, I followed his instructions. And to my utter relief, the moment I moved the steering wheel, the engine roared to life! I profusely thanked the technician, and then silently thanked myself for the foresight of keeping that business card.

The takeaway from this minor ordeal is clear: always keep business cards handy! You never know when you might need to contact someone, and having their information readily available can save you a considerable amount of stress and time. It also reminds me to read the owner's manual!
