"I recently had a spirited debate with a friend who was staunchly advocating for the latest iPhone, especially when compared to Samsung. My argument stemmed from past experiences with Samsung's "Edge" phones, specifically the S25 Edge and earlier iterations. While those curved edges might seem aesthetically pleasing and feel smooth to the touch, the practical reality was far from ideal.

The design presented a multitude of issues. Finding a phone case that provided a snug and reliable fit was nearly impossible. Screen protectors were a constant source of frustration, with the edges perpetually peeling away, especially when taking the phone in and out of my pocket. Even more concerning, my sister's phone, a victim of this design, malfunctioned after just three months. While she received a replacement, the incident raised serious doubts about the overall quality control and inherent flaws in the design that Samsung continued to perpetuate.

Conversely, the iPhone's flat screen design offers a more pragmatic and reliable experience. Coupled with what I consider to be the most user-friendly and stable operating system available, iPhones tend to be incredibly durable and hold up remarkably well over time, making them a solid investment if you're planning on keeping a phone for three to five years.
